The Support Card Initiative brings comfort to young patients by delivering handwritten cards created by students across multiple Salam Support chapters. At James Madison High School, volunteers made 200 cards, Al Noor School contributed about 150, High School for Public Health added another 150, and our Washington DC chapter produced 250 more. These cards offer encouragement during difficult moments and reflect a long tradition of serving others through simple, heartfelt acts. By engaging students in this work, the initiative strengthens community ties, builds compassion, and reminds children in hospitals that they are not facing their challenges alone.
