In collaboration with the trauma department at Maimonides Medical Center, Salam Support hosted a hands-on Stop the Bleed workshop where 30 high school students learned how to control life-threatening bleeding and earned official certification. Volunteers practiced packing wounds, applying direct pressure, and using tourniquets, leaving prepared to step in until EMS arrives. This event brought our mission to life by turning students into first responders for their schools, families, and communities.
